Welcoming a BritRoyal kitten into your family is an exciting journey, and we believe the reservation process should be simple, transparent and stress-free.

We understand that every family is different, which is why we offer flexible payment arrangements, including advance lay-by options for those planning ahead.

Below, you'll find everything you need to know about our applications, deposits, reservations and payment options.

📝 Submitting an application

Submitting an application or joining our general waitlist is simply an expression of interest. It does not reserve a kitten or guarantee availability.

Every application is personally reviewed to help us understand each family's preferences, circumstances and expectations, ensuring the best possible match between our kittens and their future homes.

Once reviewed, suitable applicants will be contacted to discuss the next steps and answer any questions.

There is no deposit required to submit an application or join our general waitlist.

🐾 Reserving a Kitten

Once your application has been approved and a suitable kitten has been selected, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.

This deposit is deducted from your kitten's total purchase price.

Once reserved, your kitten will be removed from public availability while we prepare for their transition into your family.

Should you change your mind or decide not to proceed, the initial $500 deposit remains non-refundable. However, any additional payments made towards the kitten's purchase price will be refunded.

💰 Payment Options

We understand that welcoming a pedigree kitten is a significant commitment, and we aim to make the financial side as manageable as possible.

BritRoyal offers several flexible payment options:

Payment in full – Pay your kitten's purchase price at the time of reservation.
Weekly instalments – Spread the remaining balance across agreed weekly payments.
Fortnightly instalments – Make regular fortnightly payments leading up to your kitten's departure.
Advance Lay-By Program – Begin paying towards a future kitten before they are born or selected.

All payment arrangements require an initial $500 non-refundable deposit, which is included in the total purchase price.

Any additional payments made beyond this deposit are refundable should you choose not to proceed.

Payment schedules are discussed individually to ensure they suit your circumstances and your kitten's expected departure date.

🌟 Advance Lay-By Program

Planning ahead for your future BritRoyal kitten?

Our Advance Lay-By Program is designed for families who wish to spread their payments over a longer period while waiting for a particular colour, gender, pattern or planned pairing.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to commence an advance lay-by arrangement.

Once your deposit has been received, you can begin making additional weekly or fortnightly payments towards your future kitten, even before they have been born or selected.

When a suitable kitten becomes available and a reservation is agreed upon, all funds paid will be credited towards the kitten's purchase price.

If your circumstances change, any payments made beyond the initial $500 deposit will be refunded. The original deposit remains non-refundable.

Participation in the Advance Lay-By Program does not guarantee a particular kitten, colour, gender or litter.

⭐ Priority Waitlist

For families seeking a particular colour, gender, pattern or future pairing, BritRoyal offers a Priority Waitlist.

Following application approval, families may place a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure a priority position for consideration when suitable kittens become available.

Priority waitlist families are generally contacted before kittens are publicly advertised, giving them an earlier opportunity to discuss available kittens.

Your deposit will be credited towards the purchase price once a suitable kitten has been selected and reserved.

Please note that priority placement does not guarantee a particular kitten, colour, gender or litter.

Should you choose not to proceed, the initial deposit remains non-refundable, while any additional payments made are refundable.

📅 Final Payments

All outstanding balances must be finalised no later than the day before your kitten's scheduled desexing procedure.

This allows us to confidently proceed with veterinary arrangements and prepare for your kitten's upcoming transition home.

Families will receive advance notice of their kitten's scheduled desexing date and any remaining balance.

No kitten will leave BritRoyal Cattery until all agreed payments have been received in full.
